"What separates this motel from the rest? For the price range, it would be tough to find another motel that compares. It is quiet and clean, with friendly staff and wonderful service. In addition, having your own wifi connection in the room was a great bonus - no need to worry about the neighbor in the room next door hogging the bandwidth. "Our stay at Golden West Motor Inn totally exceeded our expectations!!! The room was without a doubt one of the cleanest we ever stayed in. There were ample towels and toiletries provided and the wifi connection was exceptional which has been difficult to find in similarly priced motels. Not to mention the staff were very friendly and helpful. Next time we're in town, it will be an easy decision on which accommodation we choose."

"This motel is located in a charming little town called Carstairs. It is just off the Queen Elizabeth II Highway (QEII) and the motel is just off the 2A highway. Every morning this motel is met by some of the most beautiful sunrises in our country. It is located across from the town campground and over looks big Alberta trees and a traditional Alberta field. It is clean, quiet and cute. The people that own and operate the motel are a nice Korean-Canadian family. They are polite and kind and take the cleanliness of this hotel quite seriously."

Cancelation policy - to avoid incurring any charges, please notify us:

  • 3:00 p.m. the day prior to arrival for a single room
  • 72 hours notice if you reserved for a long weekend
  • 72 hours notice if you are part of a group booking of 3 rooms or more

Failure to call and cancel along with cancellations made after the allotted deadline (in accordance with your type of booking) and 'No Shows' will be charged the full amount per room.
